Move Over Millennial Pink, Here Comes Gen Z Yellow

I was born in 1997, making me too young to quite be considered a Millennial, but too old to be considered Generation Z. While I still had a flip-phone when I was young (and a sidekick!), I don’t really remember a time where computers/the internet didn’t exist. So you see my dilemma in not having a generation to be a part of. Oh well, those of us born in the late 90’s will just have to resign ourselves to not belonging to any generation, or being a hybrid of both.

That being said, I’ve always loved Millennial pink as a color. It’s bright, fun, and you guys know how much I love the color pink in general. (My entire apartment is pink!) But there has been such a surge in the new generation’s color: Gen Z Yellow.

Gen Z Yellow is brighter, more fun, more spontaneous, and full of electric energy, just like the generation it represents, and that’s why I’m all on board. You may start to see this color slowly overtaking Millennial Pink, not just on my blog and in my photos, but everywhere!

A lot of people shy away from wearing yellow, saying it doesn’t suit them, but don’t be afraid of this bold hue! Start small, with just an accessory, and build up to wearing a bright yellow dress or sweater!
