How I Whiten With Smile Brilliant
I have never been particularly confident about my smile until recently. In middle school, I went from a messed-up snaggle-tooth, to a full mouth of braces (with colored rubber bands, anyone else remember those?). When I finally got that metal out of my mouth, my teeth were never particularly bright-white. My budding, (and now full-fledged) coffee addiction didn't help out either, since things like coffee and red wine stain your teeth. Dang.
I tried those white-strips that you can buy at any drugstore, but they slipped around, and were crazy messy, but going and getting them professionally whitened was way too expensive! So I lived with my just-okay white-ish teeth until a company called Smile Brilliant approached me a while back!
Be sure to keep reading, there's a giveaway at the bottom!
Smile brilliant makes professional-grade teeth whitening trays that are delivered to your doorstep, and it's super easy! Once your package comes in the mail:
- Mix together the two puddys and place them into the mold-tray
- Insert them into your mouth and let them dry to make your molds (if you mess-up, there's extra puddy, don't worry!) and then send them off to Smile Brilliant!
- Once you get your trays back, you can start using your Whitening Gel for 15-60 minutes, as often as you're most comfortable
- Rinse out the whitening gel, and then put on the desensitizing gel
- Enjoy your gorgeous white smile!
When I first started out, the whitening gel really bothered my gums, but a quick trick that I learned from my girl Jessica at Smile Brilliant was to put Vaseline on your gums right before whitening, and BAM, no more gum-sensitivity! Because of that, I can leave mine on for a full hour, but don't skip the desensitizing gel part!! (I did once, and it was not fun...) The gel restores moisture back into your teeth, and is super important!
I’m also hosting a GIVEAWAY with Smile Brilliant for one reader!! The prize is a $139.95 store credit, which is equal to the Teeth Whitening Trays + 3 whitening gel syringes & 3 desensitizing gel syringes!! (each gel syringe lasts about 3-4 applications) Which is amazing, since the trays are really the only expensive part, and you'll get yours FREE!
