In My Bag: Kate Spade Cedar Street Maise

I was ecstatic when I opened this Kate Spade Cedar Street Maise on Christmas morning this year, and ever since then, it has become the perfect bag for everyday and for taking to my internship! Today, I thought I would give a little peek inside and tell y'all what's hiding in this little red gem. Watch the video for a full, unedited version (complete with random papers, metrocards, and way too many lip products) or just keep scrolling for my edited version!

On-the-go makeup

Benefit tinted lash primer - to be honest, this one gets tossed into my bag to use as a touch-up mascara (yes, I know it's a primer) mainly because of the brush. The wand on They're Real mascaras and primers are incredible at separating lashes, so it's great for mid-day touchups

too cool for school highlighter  - I love this gorgeous pearly highlighter! I have #2 baby pink clam, and it's lovely on fair skin, although they make two other shades for whatever color you prefer. It also comes in a rollerball and powder form. I think after this little tube is up, i'll be grabbing the rollerball version!

Dr. Lipp Miracle Balm - another Birchbox sample, this little tube is a thicker lip balm that's great for adding a ton of moisture. I'm not too picky, about my lip balms, so I wouldn't really spurge on this, but it's great to have a mini one in my bag!

Marc Jacobs eyeliner  - I've been getting into tightlining lately, and for that, a crayon liner is a must. This one, along with the Cynthia Rowley crayon liner, are amazing for easy tightlining and touching up on-the-go!

LAQA & Co cheek and lip stick  - These pretty cheek and lip sticks come individually or in a trio from Birchbox. I love this pink one as a cream blush, and it's incredibly easy for on the go!

Maybelline age rewind concealer  - this concealer is a long time favorite of myself and a ton of other bloggers. It's an amazing concealer for the drugstore! The only drawback, for me, would be the color range. I wish they had just one shade lighter, but oh well.

The Essentials

Kate Spade notebook - I love this adorable, and inspirational, notepad from Kate Spade! It's perfect for checklists, and a weird but very convenient quality, the pages rip out clean and evenly, so you never have trouble!

Ban.do portable charger - for someone whose phone is always on 2% (me!) a portable charger can be a life-saver! This one from Ban.do is oh so cute, and has an iphone 5 & 6 nib, so you never need an extra cord!

LOFT sunglasses - I am terrible about losing sunglasses, so an expensive pair is really out of the question. This pair from LOFT are very stylish and I got them on sale for about $13 so I can buy a few pairs without fear of losing them!

Chanel powder compact - I have quite oily skin, so a mid-day powder is a must. This Chanel compact is classic and chic, and has a great mirror for lipstick touchups!
