Two of my favorite things when it comes to summer style: vivid hues and ladylike silhouettes. Summer is just the perfect time to run around it a poplin midi skirt, or in this case, dress! As soon as this vibrant blue number came in at J.Crew, I knew I had to have it. It's ultra-feminine and attention-grabbing, and I plan on trying to make it work for fall/winter too. 

But naturally, for summer I had to pair it with equally as bright accessories like these gorgeous yellow earrings, and bright pink lips and nails. These white Steve Madden heels kept it classic and summery, while the burgundy mirco bag from the WhoWhatWear collection added a little modern edge!

As for a quick life update, my sister Emma comes home today from working at camp all summer (YAY!) and I'm busily packing for a trip to Cancun! Don't worry, there will definitely be a vlog! Watch for it over on my YouTube channel!
