Classic, preppy looks are my go-to when i don't have the energy to do something more fashion-forward, and there's nothing more classic than a button down and jeans. I picked a crisp white J.Crew button down with a relaxed pair of faded denim to offset the stiffness, and piled on my favorite J.Crew necklace for a little interest.

A pair of comfy strappy heels elevated the look to make it a bit more formal, while the monogrammed baseball cap kept it casual (and hid my unruly hair that I did not have the patience to style) Topping that off with my gorgeous Kate Spade Cedar Street Masie for a pop of color, and I was ready to take on the day!
