May Favorites

I apologize for being a tad late on the Favorites this month, I just couldn't decide which products to pick! I've been loving so many new things lately, but I managed to whittle it down to just a few gorgeous bits!

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Very Victoria and Eyes to Mesmerize Eye Shadow in Jean

I picked up these to gorgeous bits at Bergdorf Goodman right before leaving New York, and I think I've worn them every day since!

Jean is the perfect champagne creme shadow, and even more amazingly, it DOES NOT BUDGE all day! Most creme eye shadows crease after a few hours and are all-but-gone by the end of the day, but this one looks just as gorgeous 6 hours later! For fair girls, this makes the perfect everyday all-over shade with very little effort (my favorite!) For darker skin tones, it would make a beautiful base and/or highlight shade!

Very Victoria is a matte lipstick in sort of a brownish-pink shade that is the PERFECT nude. It's dark enough so that you can actually tell it's a lipstick, but just enhances the natural lip. It's subtle enough to pair with any eye-makeup whether dark or light, and just adds that finished polish to a makeup look.

Benefit Porefessional

My skin is a mix of oily and dry, so this little tube of magic is a must-have! It keeps oil from coming through and ruining makeup, but also smooths over those dry patches and lets foundation sit beautifully on the skin. I'm almost out of my second tube, and I need to order a new one STAT.

Kopari Sheer Coconut Oil

This gem has made a few appearances in favorites posts, and for good reason. I'm sure you know all of the amazing benefits of coconut oil, but this refined version from Kopari is perfect for applying as a moisturizer (my favorite way), taking off stubborn makeup, and taming unruly frizz. Plus, you only need a few drops every time, so a little bit of this goes a long way!

Glossier Stretch Concealer

Another repeat favorite, Glossier's stretch concealer is my go-to for the undereyes. It has a slightly yellow undertone, so it beautifully counteracts those purple tones under the eyes. It's easy to apply, and lasts all day long! LOVE!

Essie Polishes in Sugar Daddy, Imported Bubbly, Tart Deco, and Meet Me at Sunset

What would a favorites post be without a plethora of Essie polishes? My addiction is nothing new, and isn't going anywhere. This month, I've been all about the rosey hues! Sugar Daddy is perfect for a low-maintenance mani and gives a subtle, sophisticated polish, Imported Bubbly is another subtle one as well, but the pearl-like effect makes it so much more interesting. Tart Deco is the newest to my collection, and the pretty summery pink makes skin look tanner, and is perfect for a beach pedicure! Finally, my obsession with orange can be painted on with Meet Me At Sunset, a gorgeous reddish orange that is the perfect summer substitute for a true red!

Wide Leg Pants

Lastly, a fashion obsession this month has been wide-leg pants! These bright orange ones from Alice & Olivia are to-die-for, and this pair of seersucker trouser from J.Crew are amazing for the hot summer months!
