Allow me to introduce two of my favorite pieces in my closet right now: This gorgeous striped trench (which is on sale right now!!) and a pair of navy horse loafers that I got several years ago (but am still in love with). With those, I threw in a fun print-mixing duo of a navy gingham button down with this star bandana!

The key to mixing prints has two parts: 1. Vary your print size (large check with tiny floral) and 2. Keep the same color palette. By keeping the same color palette, the prints blend better together, and compliment instead of clash. Try it with a small accessory like a bandana to ease into it!
