One of the best parts of working retail is when an amazing sale goes up out-of-the-blue, and you're able to snatch up the best bits before anyone else for crazy cheap! I scooped these J.Crew Gemma flats up for about $13, and I'm in love! They add such a gorgeous pop of color to any outfit, and match my Kate Spade Cedar Street Maise perfectly!

I hope you've all had a wonderful week and are excited for the upcoming weekend! I'm still dreaming of last weekend when I got to fly up to Arkansas for a beautiful wedding! I vlogged the entire trip and wedding HERE if you want to go watch the video! Anyway, as I was edititng the footage, I noticed that I hadn't gotten a single shot of what I wore to the wedding, so I decided to re-create everything for an outfit post today!

I will, of course, use any excuse to wear this gorgeous Peter Pilotto Pallas dress that was given to me from the internship last spring, and it was absolutly perfect for a summer outdoor wedding! (It wasn't unbearably hot, but we DANCED all night long) I wanted to make it very bohemian-glam, so I paired it with some gold hoops from Francescas, and some comfy but cute block heeled sandals, so that it was easy to walk on grassy areas while still looking cute.

I've had my eye on these cropped seersucker pants from J.Crew for quite a while now, so when they went on sale, I had to grab them before they sell out! They're light, comfortable, and perfect for spring and summer, especially paired with a chunky sandal and a chambray button down. But what would a preppy outfit be without a statement accessory? Of course, I had to throw on my favorite tortoiseshell necklace with a tiny bit of color to match my orange Kat Von D lipstick.

we've had a bit of a cold front in the city, and I was able to give this fur vest one last outing before spring/summer! I stuck to classic New York black, but added a little spring flair with this gorgeous orange lipstick by Kat Von D! I highly recommend these, they are amazing!
