Doesn't everyone carry around a purse full of flowers? Maybe not, it's a bit impractical, but makes for some very cute photos! I loved the way these spring blooms peeked out of my Kate Spade Cedar Street Maise. To compliment the already ultra-feminine look, I picked out this fun midi skier that I made about a year ago. Midi skirts are so pretty and fun, and fairly easy to sew if you know the basics!
This week is going to be a busy one! For those of you who don't know, I'm an intern at Suite 1521, and with added days there, so much to do for classes, and keeping my regular blogging schedule, it's going to be hectic! Sometimes I wish I was a normal college student.... but not really.
Today I had a lot of errands to run, so I needed something comfortable and easy to move in. My trusted pixie pants and tweed sneakers were no-brainers, and I threw on this cream and grey bomber jacket from LOFT to keep me warm and add a model-off-duty style to the outfit. But of course, it would never be my style without a little extra sparkle, so in came my favorite J.Crew necklace.
After a much needed holiday break to spend with friends and family, I am back to blogging! I thought I would kick it off with two of my favorite Christmas gifts, this black quilted J.Crew Excursion Puffer Vest, and the Kate Spade Cedar Street Maise in Cherry Liqueur!
High of 60 degrees in December?? Somehow it's happening, and that means I'm still rockin' shift dresses and flats instead of sweaters and boots. I pulled this old bird-print shift dress (similar) out and paired it with my trusty leather jacket (similar), a sparkly statement necklace from J.Crew Factory, and adorable d'orsay flats from LOFT (similar). The final touch was topping it off with Clinique's Color Pop Lipstick in Punch Pop!
This morning I was greeted with a deer-in-headlights stare from my roommates, as I walked out of my room wearing JEANS. Actual denim pants. To be honest, the main reason for it was that none of my usual trousers or pants looked quite right with this J.Crew Vest (which I'm obsessed with).
The vest is red and navy, so I threw this navy sweater (similar) underneath, and added a little sparkle with this crystal statement necklace (similar) from J.Crew Factory. Finally, I cuffed up the jeans and threw on my favorite brown ankle boots (similar)!
I was looking back through blog photos store on my laptop and realized that this outfit from about two weeks ago was never posted! This was the first time I got to break out this grid pattern sweater from LOFT! I picked it up at the end of last winter and I'm so excited to finally wear it!
I paired it with my favorite (and probably WAY over-worn) J.Crew pixie pants, black ballet flats, a blue and green statement necklace, and LOFT sunglasses!
I've only recently started wearing pencil skirts, and I regret missing out on them for so long! They're comfortable and chic! (My favorite pair!) I paired this one from LUSH with a simple grey long sleeve, my DVF Micro Milo, and my favorite statement necklace from J.Crew. Flats kept it comfy and casual for brunch with my roomies Julia (Hey Jule) and Kayla (The Style Genre)!

I felt a bit Audrey Hepburn in this LOFT mint pleated midi-skirt, black longsleeve, BCBG pumps, and J.Crew Factory necklace. This outfit is so flirty and feminine, I love it!
Day 2 of my LOFT Haul! I'm so in love with this bright orange Shirttail Dress! The color is perfect for summer and it's so light and flowy! I paired it with one of my favorite J.Crew necklaces (similar here) and new LOFT gold sandals. To top it all off, I have mt new DVF Micro Milo bag, which I did a What's in my Bag/ Bag Review post about! (and in case you were wondering, my toenail polish is Essie's After School Boy Blazer)
