All in Style
I am lucky enough to have a grandmother with impeccable taste, and she has slowly passed down a few gorgeous vintage items to me, including this cream and brown silk scarf. I'll admit, at first I wasn't quite sure how to work this little gem into my wardrobe.
Taking cues from effortlessly chic Parisian style, I simply knotted it over a burgundy button-down, light brown leather jacket, pixie pants, and ballet flats. I made sure to keep the makeup simple, with just a touch of brown shadow and light-pink lipstick by Jouer in the color Meredith.
I am absolutely obsessed with this bright red turtleneck sweater from J.Crew Factory!! It perfectly matches my Kate Spade Cedar Street Maise, and paired flawlessly with my NARS matte lip pencil in Cruella.
I added just a touch of sparkle with these Stella & Dot ear jackets and tied up my hair to show them off with this metal hair pony!
After a much needed holiday break to spend with friends and family, I am back to blogging! I thought I would kick it off with two of my favorite Christmas gifts, this black quilted J.Crew Excursion Puffer Vest, and the Kate Spade Cedar Street Maise in Cherry Liqueur!
The last lookbook of the year! Some of my favorite outfits from this past month, as well as a cameo by my hilarious and adorable roomie, Julia (Hey Jule). As this goes up, I'm finally back home in Texas for the holidays (watch out for a Christmas vlog!).
I picked up this vintage Tibi dress from Buffalo Exchange a few weeks ago, and finally decided to pair it with a light white button down (true school-uniform style), enormous earrings from BaubleBar (similar), and NARS matte lip pencil in Cruella. It feels very Gossip Girl Season 1, with the glammed-up school uniform vibe, and I'm loving it!
High of 60 degrees in December?? Somehow it's happening, and that means I'm still rockin' shift dresses and flats instead of sweaters and boots. I pulled this old bird-print shift dress (similar) out and paired it with my trusty leather jacket (similar), a sparkly statement necklace from J.Crew Factory, and adorable d'orsay flats from LOFT (similar). The final touch was topping it off with Clinique's Color Pop Lipstick in Punch Pop!
Two of my favorite things, all black outfits and gold jewelry. Honestly, black matches everything and looks good on everyone, who could ever not love it!
To make things a little more interesting, I paired it with a lace bralette from Urban Outfitters, and added a few gold bracelets, a gold fringe necklace (similar), and tweed slip-on sneakers (similar).
When the weather is starting to turn chilly, nothing is better than a cozy oversized sweater and fleece-lined tights. A soft long sleeve top and flats (love these!) keep it even more comfortable, while the skirt and pendent necklace (similar) make it look like you actually tried to look nice. Bonus! fishtail braiding your hair the night before means almost zero work in the morning! My kind of outfit!
For a comfortable fall outfit, there's nothing better than cozy tights and a loose dress. You look put together, but with minimal effort! I love this shift shirtdress from Lou & Grey (similar), and paired with comfy black flats, it's definitely a go-to in my closet!
I love this gold metal hair elastic, because it makes you look like you MEANT to do a ponytail, and not that you we're just too lazy to style your hair that day. Plus, adding a little pop of color with orangy-red nails and lips keeps it from being too boring!
Today was a bit on the chilly side (it's about time!!) so I decided to layer two of my favorite pieces, this blue pinstripe button down from J.Crew Factory, with this blue/grey sweater (similar) from LOFT!
I added a little sparkle with this crystal statement necklace, also from J.Crew Factory and then paired that with J.Crew pixie pants, my brown leather jacket, and brown leather ankle boots (similar)! Topping everything off is my forever-favorite lipstick, Clinique's Color Pop Lipstick in Cola Pop!
