Jun 25 Book Club: Cass, Bronte, and Conrad

I have always been a bit of a bookworm, and I love tons of different types of books. Today I thought I would share a few titles that I have been particularly loving lately!

1. The Selection Series by Kiera Cass

If you're a The Bachelor/Bachlorette fan, you will freak over this future-meets-fairytale novel! Dangerous love-triangles, conflicting feelings, and dystopian influences made this novel a huge hit in my view. I just finished Book 3: The One, and I can't wait to start Book 4! Kiera Cass has quickly become one of my favorite authors! (Also, can we take a moment to mention the covers? They're STUNNING. I have them all on my Kindle, but I almost wish I had them all hardcopy just for that!)

2. Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte

The amount of times this book made me want to slam my head into a wall is innumerable. It is essentially a story of revenge, even though it is commonly mistaken for a love story; somehow I couldn't help but get wrapped up in the lives of these twisted and complex characters. It's amazing how I can detest every character, yet love the book itself. Emily Bronte, in my opinion, was one of the greatest writers to ever put a pen to paper, and this book proves that.

3. Style and Beauty by Lauren Conrad

I absolutely adored these two reads by Lauren Conrad! Her effortless yet chic style has definitely become one of my inspirations. Beauty spans everything from basic makeup/beauty products and terminology, to Lauren's personal recommendations and looks to try! Style is similar, with a list of wardrobe staples leading into Lauren's personal style. I swear I've read them both cover-to-cover 3 times! LOVE!

If you're a bookworm like myself, Kindle's are amazing! I can carry 100+ books on a tiny, practically weightless tablet! I recommend a Paperwhite over the others because there is no back-light; it's the closest feel to a real book!
