Glossier Solution Review
I’ve always struggled with acne. Since I was a preteen, I’ve had a constant flow of black-heads, white-heads, and red/blotchy skin. Even worse, I’m always that person who HAS to pop a zit, so I’ve accrued a ton of acne scars over the years. Through all this, I’ve always religiously washed and moisturized my face, never slept with makeup on, and tested TONS of serums, acids, spot-treatments, and masks, but nothing ever seemed to work.

To put my slight bias into the open, I’ve been addicted to Glossier products since they launched, I use their products religiously, and I’ve converted almost every friend and family member into a believer, but I am not kidding when I say This. Stuff. Works.
When Solution first launched, I was skeptical about yet another acid exfoliator, since so many had failed my skin before, but I decided to give it a try.
But what even is Solution? It’s a chemical exfoliator that contains AHA, BHA, and PHA acids, unlike most products, which only contain one. Instead of scratching off the top layer of your skin, like physical exfoliators, Solution works by breaking the bond of dead skin cells, revealing the fresh skin underneath, and stopping zits from ever forming!
It’s a little more intense than your average exfoliator, but if you fall in the normal to oily skin types, it’s definitely worth a look.

Before Solution: as you can see on the left, I started with a lot of acne scars, extreme redness, and I was getting super painful cystic acne ALL the time.
After the first use, it gives a tingling sensation, but not burning or uncomfortable like other exfoliators. I woke up the next morning with skin that was a little brighter, and a little less red! (Not a miracle overnight, but just wait)
After 2 weeks, my acne scars were noticeably faded, and I hadn’t gotten any new acne! Redness was also much more in-check
After 2 months, after using it once a day for 2 months, my old acne scars are almost completely gone, I never get a zit, and I’m confident going without makeup for the first time! I can honestly say this is the best skin I’ve ever had!
