Suite Life - Mary Katrantzou, Ileana Makri, David Koma & Lynn Ban
This week at Suite 1521 was very hectic, but we had some AMAZING designers showing! One of my all-time favorites, Mary Katrantzou, was here this week, as well as Ileana Makri, a beautiful jewelry designer, David Koma, whose a little too sexy for my taste, but still very pretty, and Lynn Ban, a very gothic/edgy/amazing jewelry designer!
Mary Katrantzou
Mary is a Greek designer who loves very feminine, abstract, colorful, but modern designs! I absolutely adore her collections, and getting to see them in person was amazing! Her gorgeous, rich colors and abstract floral patterns made the entire collection look Alice-in-wonderland-esque, but even prettier. I was particularly in love with the burgundy daffodil top, and the dress version too!
Ileana Makri
Another Greek designer, Ileana's jewelry is simple, but stunning! Think greek mythology meets edgy rock-chic! I especially adore her baguette line rings and eclectic but sophisticated evil-eye pieces! I got to chat with her a little bit while I was unpacking the David Koma collection!
David Koma
David Koma is definitely one for the punk-rocker who wants lots of cut-outs, sexy designs, and a TON of metal detailing. While I'm not sure I could pull off his ambitious designs on a daily basis, they definitely pack a punch for a special occasion!
Lynn Ban
Another designer who is more on the edgy-gothic side, but SO gorgeous! Lynn Ban's jewelry is dark, sexy, and stunning! I'm particularly in love with the lace-looking rings from her latest collection! (third finger from the right)
