All in OOTD

Excursion

Fall in New York is a beautiful time of year, and while most of the city remains a concrete jungle, Central Park (particularly the upper half of it) turns into a red, green, and yellow forest that almost makes you forget you're in the largest city in the US. I decided to take advantage of one of our first 55 degree days and roam around the forest (with a large cup of coffee and my photographer David in tow of course).

Culottes on Columbus

It's finally starting to get a little chilly up here (meaning it's 75 one day and 45 the next...) so layering is about to become a little more important! I'm obsessed with these black culottes from Zara, because they feel like pajamas, but they're so on trend.

No Parking

If you told me a year ago that I would be wearing denim on denim I probably would have laughed hysterically. I didn't ever wear jeans, much less a denim button down with it, but taste can change, and I love this chambray on dark rise denim combo. The contrasting tones keep it from being too Brittany Spears circa 2001, and the high-waisted dark denim with a black block heeled boot make legs look miles long.

Jane St

The Meatpacking district is one of my favorite areas of Manhattan. It's quieter than busy midtown, and has tons of cute cafes and shops dotted along its cobblestone streets. For today's adventure around the lower west side, I grabbed a new fall favorite, this brown corduroy skirt, and threw a pair of cozy tights and black heeled ankle boots on underneath it
