Highs in the Hundreds

With Texas temps hitting highs in the hundreds, it's a constant battle not to wear shorts and a loose fitting tee. To get around this, I opted for a loose orange tank (which is actually a dress tucked in, but shhhhh... see it HERE) and pulled on my FAVORITE pants, a pair of black, wide-leg culottes from Zara. They feel like pajama pants, but somehow end up looking chic with a pop of color and a pair of heels.

I pulled my hair up into a messy ponytail (because who wants that much hair when it's 104 degrees??) and added very simple and delicate gold jewelry. I love these hoops from Francesca's. They're just the right size so not too big, but big enough to make a statement. Another of my favorite accessories is this black wooden watch from JORD! (see my post on it HERE) It's a bit masculine, but adds a fun and smart edge to any outfit!
